Rossi wants move to Napoli

">

Manchester United striker Giuseppe Rossi is ready to make a switch to Napoli! The young frontman knows he will be puished right out of Old Trafford should Carlos Tevez arrive and Sir Alex Ferguson has admitted he and Alan Smith can leave.

His representative Federico Pastorello has revealed Rossi is keen on a move to Napoli, but Parma, with whom he spent much of last season on loan, remain very keen. Pastorello explained, "Giuseppe would be more than happy to play for Napoli. He cares more about the future and the atmosphere surrounding the team than about money. In any case, he is worth around 10 million euros." Parma president Tommaso Ghirardi said: "We have met with the agents of Giuseppe Rossi. We had a recap of the situation, but we know that we have to wait for the return of Manchester United from the Asian tour before knowing something more about Giuseppe."

Is Giuseppe right to leave before Tevez arrives and forces him out, or should he stay and fight for his position?  Tell us what you think below...

United should keep Rossi, We're building a team for the future and he should be part of that future. He's never really had a chance in the first team and it would be crazy to get rid of him before he's even had a chance. Scholes will not last for ever and Rossi looks like he could take over from Scholes long term.

Rossi should stay and wait for opportunities this season. Even with Tevez and Rooney, Saha and Rossi will make up the other supporting strikers in what will be a demanding season.
Let Smith go, and Ole can also add a few appearances as a fifth striker (in reserve).
I think that leaves us with a strong and competetive strikeforce.
DON'T GO GIUSEPPE, YOU STILL HAVE LOTS TO OFFER IN WHAT WILL BE BUSY SEASON!

rossi should move to napoli. he's a great player and would thrive infront of a passionate neapolitan crowd. at man utd they already got to many players of the same calibre(nani, anderson, rooney)! at napoli he can form one of the most lethal combination with lavezzi and rossi behind CALAIO who i think will explode and surprise lots of people with his goals this season. FORZA NAPOLI PER SEMPRE!!

Hey Salvatore,

Good point .. Calaio will suprise and with a 3 man front it will be hard for any team to stop Rossi, Calaio, and Lavezzi.
