The star, 25, issued a furious denial this week following reports in the US that she was expecting after a fling with a dancer called Chuck.
But today I can bring you the full lowdown — and tell you it is TRUE.
A source close to the star told me: "She's very angry that it has come out like this. She's shocked because the pregnancy is the last thing she needs right now.

Britney had a fling after a wild night out in LA as her bitter divorce battle with K-FED dragged on.
A US magazine reported that her on-off boyfriend JR ROTEM had confirmed the baby rumours but Britney said the story was "bull****" and "completely fake".

Only last week I revealed she wanted to adopt Chinese twins after losing custody of sons SEAN PRESTON, two, and one-year-old JAYDEN JAMES.

I think she will treat this child a whole lot better now she has been through this, and I hope she spends her wealth on this new child and puts a huge sum away for it's future.
Her ex only wanted custody to have a regular income and have her under his thumb for the rest of the children's childhoods, he always has someone else looking after the them.

It would be unfair of her to bring another child into this world when her life is such a mess. She has already got two kids caught up in all this mess. I know most girls take responsibility for their own contraception, so maybe instead of criticising her, we should be directing her to the FPC for the Pill - too late this time, but its never too late to start taking care of yourself - and I cant help thinking that is where her problem lies - she doesnt think enough of herself to care.

Offensive? Report commentThe girl is on a downward spiral and there's no coming back for her. If the two beautiful boys she has now can't open her eyes to what's right and wrong in her life right now, then the third one's definately not going to make a difference.
She could have whatever it is she's looking for but is choosing to self destruct instead. She's in a an awful hurry for something, and is making all the wrong decisions in the meantime.
It's a pity to see her do what she's doing to herself and her kids and family. We can all go off track at some point in our lives but if you really love those around you, you'll see what you're doing to them and you turn yourself around.
She's a very selfish girl and that's the bottom line in this Britney saga. I just hope that the two boys get a good upbringing by someone who knows how to show them the way.

Offensive? Report commentIf this does turn out to be true then I don't think it's a good thing. I think Britney has lost all sense of reality and to be totally honest, she should be focusing on doing her best for the the 2 children she already has.
She could still try and adhere to the rules the courts have set and possibly regain custody eventually. Having a third child is not the right way to go about things. Wht would having a 3rd child be different just because of what she's gone thru already?
Let's be honest here - K-Fed was never painted as a good dad, what with 2 other children from a previous relationship - yet he still managed to get custody.
For that to happen Brit must have seriously screwed up - didn't the judge say she was a frequent drug user or something?
I'm not trying to slate Briteny, I was a fan for years and i've tried to support her but judging by her lack of contribution to the latest album among other things I don't think her career has a place in her life at the moment - I'm still trying to work out what her prioroties actually are.
I honestly think that if Britney wanted her children in her custody bad enough then she would never have lost custody in the first place.
I feel nothing but pity for her - she needs some serious help.
