Madonna buys Mayfair boozer

BOOZER That Girl? It’s MADONNA splashing out on her own pub with hubby GUY RITCHIE.

Well, after reading about her party with Orlando, Guy could probably do with a couple of pints. I can reveal that the pair have snapped up The Punchbowl in London’s expensive Mayfair.

The watering hole, once owned by the son of notorious gangster FREDDIE FOREMAN, is a favourite of big names such as ROBERT DE NIRO, AL PACINO, BARBRA STREISAND and EastEnders star BARBARA WINDSOR.

A source told me: “The sale of the pub went through and the previous owners were offered a huge sum of money for the freehold.

“It has everything Madge and Guy want — A-lister regulars and a tough edge with the Foreman connection.”
