City boss Hughes wants Blackburn's Santa
ROQUE FIGHT
By DAVID HARRISON
MARK HUGHES faces a fierce fight with his former club Blackburn to sign striker Roque Santa Cruz.
The Manchester City boss is willing to make a double-your-money £12million bid for the Paraguayan international who cost him £6m from Bayern Munich last summer.
But new Rovers boss Paul Ince is holding out for £15m for Santa Cruz.
Ince is also preparing a £3m move for Oldham’s Wales full-back Neal Eardley and has brought in Chilean midfielder Carlos Villanueva on loan.
i think even at 15m he would be a great buy and also be good for jo has either can play up top or just behind the other
