SIMON JORDAN APOLOGY
ON 20 July we carried an interview with Crystal Palace Chairman, Simon Jordan.
We wrongly stated in the article that Mr Jordan was planning to sell the club to the ‘highest bidder’.
In fact, he has always made clear that he will only sell to a responsible buyer who has the best interests of the club at heart and that he will remain wholly committed to the club until such buyer emerges.
Mr Jordan was not paid for the interview, which was given to a freelance journalist. We apologise for any embarrassment.
You have to give him credit, he does stand his corner !
