The first polls have closed and McCain is in the lead. He is projected to have won Kentucky. That means nothing - wait for Virginia for a real indication of who is going to win.
The final poll of polls gives Obama a 7% lead nationally. The turn-out will also soothe any nerves he may have had. A big turn-out is good for Obama. There is talk of the biggest turn-out for 100 years - and 10% of voters say they are voting for the first time......
