We first meet the hero (Matt Dallas) wandering naked through a forest on the outskirts of Seattle. Unable to speak and without any memory – and curiously no belly button – Kyle is eventually picked up by the authorities and placed in a juvenile detention centre.

It’s there Kyle meets his future foster mother – social worker Nicole Trager (Marguerite MacIntyre - Bones, Numb3rs) who takes pity on him and invites him to live with her.

Though arriving mute with little knowledge or recognition of his surroundings, Kyle quickly masters the English language, memorises the encyclopaedia effortlessly and shows astounding athletic abilities.

But while Kyle’s mental and physical strengths eclipse human capabilities, he’s baffled by family life, high school and the social norms of growing up as a teenager in modern America.

Kyle embarks on a quest to discover his biological parents. But the closer he gets to unravelling clues the more questions arise; who is the mysterious man following him? Why doesn’t he have a belly button? And is he even human?

Kyle XY Declassified contains all 10 episodes of the first series along with an alternate pilot episode, an extended version of the season finale “Endgame”, and audio commentaries by the cast and crew.
